Notice is hereby given to all members that an Annual General Meeting of the North Delta Football Club will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 7:00pm at Mackie Clubhouse (10900 82nd Avenue, Delta, BC).
All registered members from the Fall/Winter Season 2024.2025 & Spring Season 2025 programs are invited to attend this meeting. Members attending the meeting will need to check in and register upon arrival.
Nominations and Elections:
President & Secretary
The terms of Nathan Ward (President) and Felisa Friesen (Secretary) conclude in 2025. Both positions are up for election to a two-year term. Both Nathan and Felisa have expressed interest in running for President and Secretary, respectively.
A nominee seeking the position of President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer must submit candidacy interest no later than 30 days prior to the annual meeting of the members in which the candidate is seeking election (NDFC Constitution & Bylaws, Part 4, Section 8(a)).
A nominee must have served for a minimum of one year on the Club’s Board of Directors or operations committee (non-voting executive member) in any capacity before being eligible for consideration in the role of President, Vice-President, or Treasurer (NDFC Constitution & Bylaws, Part 4, Section 1(f)(i)).
To express candidacy interest in the President or Secretary positions, please complete the following form by October 21, 2024:
Vice President & Treasurer
Shane Roberts (Vice-President) and Lee Bode (Treasurer) are currently serving two-year terms, concluding in 2026.
Director-At-Large
Nominations for Director-At-Large positions may be made by any member at the annual meeting of the members. These positions are elected to a 1-year term. In addition to the above-named positions, we will elect up to 5 Directors-at-Large. Any individual who has been an Active Member for at one least year is eligible to be nominated as a Director-At-Large.
Voting:
Voting at a meeting of the members:
- Each Active Member shall have one (1) vote.
- No Member shall have more than one (1) vote.
- Voting by proxy is not allowed.
Financials:
The Club’s Financial Statements, including a Compilation Engagement Report, will be provided no later than November 10, 2025.

As per the Club’s October 7, 2025 email, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the North Delta Football Club will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 7:00pm at Mackie Clubhouse (10900 82nd Avenue, Delta, BC).
Nominations and Elections:
President
The term of Nathan Ward (President) concludes in 2025. Nathan has decided to retire from the position of President at the AGM. We thank Nathan for his years of service.
Shane Roberts submitted his candidacy interest to the Club and meets the requirements to serve as President (NDFC Constitution & Bylaws, Part 4, Section 1(f)(i)). No other individual submitted their candidacy interest.
As the only nominated candidate, Shane Roberts will be elected as President by acclamation at the AGM (NDFC Constitution & Bylaws, Part 4, Section 8(c)).
Secretary
The term of Felisa Friesen (Secretary) concludes in 2025. Felisa had submitted her candidacy interest to the Club. No other individual submitted their candidacy interest.
As the only nominated candidate, Felisa Friesen will be elected as Secretary by acclamation at the AGM (NDFC Constitution & Bylaws, Part 4, Section 8(c)).”
Vice-President
As Shane Roberts will be acclaimed as President at the AGM, he will retire from the position of Vice-President at the AGM.
As such, we are seeking candidacy interest for the position of Vice-President.

Mandip Kharod submitted her candidacy interest to the Club and meets the requirements to serve as Vice President (NDFC Constitution & Bylaws, Part 4, Section 1(f)(i)). No other individual submitted their candidacy interest.
As the only nominated candidate, Mandip Kharod will be elected as Vice President by acclamation at the AGM (NDFC Constitution & Bylaws, Part 4, Section 8(c)).
