AGM Notice

Notice is hereby given to all members that an Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the North Delta Football Club will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 7:00pm at North Delta Recreation Centre – Multi-Purpose Gymnasium (11415 84 Avenue, Delta, BC).

All registered members from the Fall/Winter Season 2025-2026 & Spring Season 2026 programs are invited to attend this meeting. Members attending the meeting will need to pre-register to attend and check-in upon arrival.

Nominations and Elections:

Vice-President & Treasurer

The terms of Mandip Kharod (Vice-President) and Lee Bode (Treasurer) conclude in 2026. Both positions are up for election to a two-year term.

Mandip has expressed interest in running for Vice-President. Lee has decided to retire from the position of Treasurer at the AGM. We thank Lee for his years of service.

A nominee seeking the position of President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer must submit candidacy interest no later than 30 days prior to the annual meeting of the members in which the candidate is seeking election (NDFC Constitution & Bylaws, Part 4, Section 8(a)).

A nominee must have served for a minimum of one year on the Club’s Board of Directors or operations committee (non-voting executive member) in any capacity before being eligible for consideration in the role of President, Vice-President, or Treasurer (NDFC Constitution & Bylaws, Part 4, Section 1(f)(i)).

Shane Roberts (President) and Felisa Friesen (Secretary) are currently serving two-year terms, concluding at the AGM in 2027.

Director-At-Large

Nominations for Director-At-Large positions may be made by any member at the annual meeting of the members. These positions are elected to a 1-year term. In addition to the above-named positions, we will elect up to 5 Directors-at-Large. Any individual who has been an Active Member for at one least year is eligible to be nominated as a Director-At-Large.

Voting:

Voting at a meeting of the members:

• Each Active Member shall have one (1) vote.
• No Member shall have more than one (1) vote.
• Voting by proxy is not allowed.

 Financials:

The Club’s Financial Statements, including a Compilation Engagement Report, will be provided no later than September 14, 2026.
