COACH OF THE YEAR AWARDS

We are currently accepting nominations for the annual Coach of the Year Awards for the 2025.2026 season. North Delta FC (NDFC) is fortunate to have members volunteer to be coaches within our Club and coach our young athletes. This award recognizes outstanding coaches at NDFC for their dedication and contribution to soccer, who continually inspire athletes to realize and reach their full potential.

The Coach of the Year awards are presented at the Coaches Appreciation Dinner on February 20, 2026.

NOMINATION CRITERIA

  • Consistently promotes good sportsmanship
  • Positive coach role model for players and parents
  • Strives to become a better coach by attending coach education sessions
  • Demonstrates their abilities through developing players
  • Promotes the Club's philosophy

AWARD CATEGORIES

There will be 2 recipients (1 male and 1 female) that will receive the award for each of the following age group categories:
  • U6-U11 Coaches
  • U12-U18 Coaches

WHO CAN NOMINATE

NDFC will accept nominations submitted by any club member (player, parent, coach).

SELECTION PROCESS

Nominations are reviewed by the technical team.

WHERE TO NOMINATE

Nominations for the Coach of the Year Awards will only be accepted ONLINE. 

All nominations must be submitted by January 26, 2026

PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARDS

We are currently accepting nominations for the annual Player of the Year Awards for the 2025.2026 season.

The Player of the Year awards are presented on field at a schedule training session.

NOMINATION CRITERIA

  • Demonstrates dedication to the sport and team.
  • Demonstrates sportsmanship and leadership.
  • Has a positive impact on the team on and off the field.
  • Strives for a high standard of play for their division.
  • Actively involved in the community and/or club.
  • Proven role model for the club.

AWARD CATEGORIES

Player of the Year Awards are presented in the following categories:
  • U13-U18 Female - Youth Player of the Year (1 award)
  • U13-U18 Male - Youth Player of the Year (1 award)

WHO CAN NOMINATE

NDFC will accept nominations submitted by any club member (player, parent, coach).

SELECTION PROCESS

Nominations are reviewed by the technical team

referee of the YEAR AWARDS

The “Referee of the Year” award recognizes someone who stands out for their officiating and shows true sportsmanship, dedication, and passion for the game.

CRITERIA

  • Consistently delivers high-quality refereeing, ensuring fairness, accuracy and professionalism in every match.
  • Acts as a role model to fellow referees.
  • Demonstrates dedication to the sport.
  • Actively involved in the community and/or club.

AWARD CATEGORIES

Referee of the Year Awards are presented in the following categories:

  • Female Referee
  • Male Referee

SELECTION PROCESS

Selections are only made by the referee awards committee.
